Artwork Rights Policy
This Artwork Rights Policy explains the rules that apply when you submit photographs, logos, names, numbers, text, graphics, AI-generated images, or other artwork for a custom SAIWEI SPORTS shin guard order.
What this policy covers.
This Artwork Rights Policy covers ownership and permission, copyright and trademark responsibility, restricted content, review, production authorization, storage, marketing permission, and deletion.
Technical file requirements live in the Artwork Guidelines1. Core Artwork Rule
You may submit artwork only if:
- You own the artwork or other content; or
- You have the necessary permission, license, consent, or other legal authority to use it for the custom product you are ordering.
By submitting artwork, you confirm that you have the right to use it for your requested custom order.
2. What You May Upload
Subject to this policy, customers may submit:
- Personal photographs
- Original artwork
- Authorized team or academy logos
- Authorized club logos
- Names
- Jersey numbers
- Text
- Custom graphics
- AI-generated images
- Different artwork for the left and right shin guards
- Other artwork supported by our customization process
Uploading artwork does not automatically mean that SAIWEI SPORTS has accepted it for production.
All submitted content remains subject to technical review and, where appropriate, rights or policy review.
3. Customer Responsibility for Rights and Permissions
You are responsible for ensuring that your submitted content does not unlawfully infringe another person’s:
- Copyright
- Trademark rights
- Design rights
- Privacy rights
- Publicity or personality rights
- Image or likeness rights
- Other intellectual-property or legal rights
This responsibility can apply to, among other things:
- Professional football club logos
- League logos
- Brand logos
- Player or celebrity photographs
- Copyrighted photographs
- Characters and illustrations
- School or academy marks
- Third-party artwork
- Images copied from websites, search engines, or social media
If you submit a photograph of a child or other minor, you confirm that you are authorized to submit and use that photograph for the requested customized product.
4. Restricted or Rejected Content
SAIWEI SPORTS may refuse, pause, or reject artwork where we reasonably identify:
- Apparent intellectual-property infringement
- Unauthorized use of a third-party logo, trademark, photograph, artwork, or other protected content
- Content that is unlawful to produce or supply
- Hate or extremist content
- Pornographic or sexually explicit adult content
- Content that unlawfully violates another person’s privacy
- Content falsely presenting a product as officially authorized, sponsored, licensed, or endorsed by a club, brand, organization, celebrity, or other rights holder
- Content that presents another material legal, payment, platform, production, or operational risk
We do not promise to identify every possible infringement or legal issue.
Acceptance of artwork for review or production does not constitute confirmation by SAIWEI SPORTS that the artwork is legally cleared for use.
5. Club Logos, Brand Logos and Professional Team Artwork
SAIWEI SPORTS does not automatically reject every professional club, team, academy, or brand logo.
However, by submitting such content, you confirm that you have appropriate permission to use it.
For well-known club logos, brand marks, league marks, third-party trademarks, or other content presenting an obvious rights concern, SAIWEI SPORTS may request evidence of authorization before proceeding.
We may refuse production if satisfactory authorization cannot be established.
6. Player, Celebrity and Other Third-Party Photographs
If you submit an image of a professional football player, celebrity, public figure, or another third party, you are responsible for having any rights or permissions required for your intended use.
Where we identify a material rights concern, we may:
- Request additional information
- Request evidence of authorization
- Ask you to replace the image
- Pause the order
- Refuse the artwork
7. AI-Generated Artwork
We accept AI-generated artwork where it is technically suitable for production.
However, submitting AI-generated content does not remove your responsibility for ensuring that the content can lawfully be used.
You remain responsible for any third-party rights issues arising from AI-generated material submitted with your order.
9. When Artwork Is Reviewed
Artwork review normally takes place after the order has been placed and payment has been received.
Our workflow is generally:
- Customer places and pays for the order.
- Customer artwork is reviewed for production suitability and, where appropriate, policy or rights concerns.
- If necessary, we contact the customer for clarification, replacement artwork, or authorization evidence.
- We prepare the design preview.
- The customer reviews the design.
- The customer may use the included revision in accordance with our Terms.
- The customer approves the final design proof.
- Production begins.
Artwork approval and design-proof approval are separate concepts.
Artwork approval means the file may proceed through our customization workflow.
Final design-proof approval means the customer has approved the final customization layout and authorizes production to begin.
10. If Artwork Cannot Be Approved
If we cannot approve submitted artwork, we will normally contact you by email.
We may explain the issue and allow you a reasonable opportunity to:
- Provide authorization evidence
- Provide clarification
- Upload replacement artwork
- Submit a different design
We do not impose a fixed number of replacement-artwork submissions, but repeated submissions must remain reasonable and comply with this policy.
If the issue cannot be resolved before production begins, the affected order may be cancelled and refunded in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Remakes Policy.
11. Artwork Issue Discovered After Design Approval
SAIWEI SPORTS may discover a legal or rights concern after a customer has already approved the design proof.
In that situation, we reserve the right to:
- Pause production
- Pause shipment
- Request authorization evidence
- Request replacement artwork
- Review a credible third-party complaint
- Take any other action reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or protect third-party rights
Final proof approval does not prevent SAIWEI SPORTS from responding to a later-discovered legal issue.
12. Artwork Issue After Production Has Started
If production has already started when an artwork or rights problem is discovered, SAIWEI SPORTS may suspend further production or shipment while the issue is reviewed.
Because design work, printing, materials, and production costs may already have been incurred, a full refund is not automatically guaranteed.
Any refund, partial refund, remake, cancellation, or other order outcome will depend on:
- The stage of production
- Costs already reasonably incurred
- Whether replacement artwork can be used
- The circumstances giving rise to the issue
- Our Terms & Conditions
- Any mandatory consumer rights that apply
Where shipment can lawfully continue and there is no valid legal, regulatory, platform, payment-provider, or rights-holder restriction preventing shipment, we may complete fulfillment.
13. Customer Responsibility for Artwork Disputes
You are responsible for the legality of content you submit.
If a credible third-party claim arises because of artwork you submitted without the necessary rights or permissions, you may be responsible for consequences directly resulting from your unauthorized submission, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
SAIWEI SPORTS does not accept responsibility merely because customer-submitted artwork was uploaded, reviewed, formatted, or manufactured where the relevant rights information was known or controlled by the customer.
However, nothing in this policy excludes obligations or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. We Do Not Normally Source Third-Party Artwork for You
Customers should normally provide their own photographs, graphics, logos, and other customization content.
SAIWEI SPORTS does not normally search Google, social media, image-search engines, or other third-party websites to obtain copyrighted artwork on behalf of customers.
If artwork assistance is specifically provided, the permitted use of third-party content must still be appropriately established.
15. Artwork Adjustments
To prepare customer artwork for printing, SAIWEI SPORTS may make reasonable technical and design adjustments such as:
- Cropping
- Resizing
- Background removal
- Color adjustment
- Positioning
- Layout changes
- Print conversion
- File conversion
- Resolution or clarity enhancement
- Other production-related adjustments
Where those changes materially affect the visible customized design, they will be reflected in the design proof provided to the customer for approval before production.
Production begins only after the customer approves the final design proof.
16. Limited Permission to Produce Your Order
Customer artwork remains owned by the customer or its respective rights holder.
Submitting artwork does not transfer ownership to SAIWEI SPORTS.
By submitting artwork, you grant Fuzhou Saiwei Sports Technology Co., Ltd. a limited, non-exclusive permission to reproduce, crop, resize, adjust, position, convert, process, and use the submitted artwork only as reasonably necessary to:
- Review the artwork
- Prepare your design proof
- Make requested design adjustments
- Manufacture your customized product
- Perform quality control
- Package your order
- Fulfill and ship your order
- Provide customer support
- Handle an approved remake or order-related issue
- Maintain reasonable order records as described in our Privacy Policy
This permission is limited to legitimate order-fulfillment purposes and does not transfer ownership of your artwork to SAIWEI SPORTS.
17. No Marketing Use Without Permission
Submitting artwork for production does not authorize SAIWEI SPORTS to use the following for unrelated marketing purposes:
- Personal photographs
- Names
- Team logos
- Designs
- Uploaded artwork
- Finished customized shin guards
We will not use customer-submitted personal artwork or photographs of personalized finished products in:
- Advertising
- Social media
- Website portfolios
- Case studies
- Promotional campaigns
18. Where Uploaded Artwork Is Stored
Customer artwork may be stored in systems used to operate our customization service, including:
- Our website server
- Our order-management system
Access should be limited to personnel who reasonably need the files to review, design, manufacture, fulfill, or support the order.
SAIWEI SPORTS manufactures the customized products itself and does not normally provide customer artwork to an unrelated third-party manufacturing provider.
Other technical service providers involved in website hosting, storage, payments, communications, or other infrastructure may process data where necessary, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
19. Artwork Retention
Customer photographs, artwork, and design files are normally retained for up to 24 months.
This retention period helps us support:
- Repeat orders
- Remakes
- Customer-service inquiries
- Order history
- Production verification
Files may be deleted earlier where appropriate or following a valid customer request.
Other records, including invoices, payment records, order details, shipping records, accounting information, fraud-prevention information, or records required for legal compliance, may be retained separately for longer periods where necessary.
20. Artwork Deletion Requests
Customers may request deletion of eligible uploaded artwork or design files by contacting:
We may request information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant order or verify the request.
When an eligible deletion request is completed, uploaded photographs and design files may be deleted while transaction records such as:
- Order number
- Invoice
- Payment information
- Shipping history
- Customer-service history
- Accounting records
- Legally required records
may continue to be retained where necessary.
Deletion requests are also subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
21. Intellectual-Property Complaints
If you believe that artwork being processed or used by SAIWEI SPORTS infringes rights that you own or are authorized to enforce, please contact:
Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the complaint, including where appropriate:
- Your name and contact information
- Identification of the protected work, image, logo, mark, or other right
- Identification of the allegedly unauthorized material
- An explanation of your ownership or authority
- Supporting documentation where reasonably available
- The action you are requesting
We may request additional information before taking action.
Where a complaint appears credible, we may temporarily suspend the affected order or shipment while reviewing it.
22. Customer Support and Review
If your artwork has been rejected or you believe a review decision was made based on incomplete information, you may contact customer support.
We do not operate a separate formal appeal system.
Customer support may review additional evidence, clarification, replacement artwork, or other relevant information and determine whether the order can proceed.

25. Policy Changes
We may update this Artwork Rights Policy when our customization workflow, legal requirements, technology, storage practices, or production processes change.
The current published version will display its effective date and last-updated date.
Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

If you are unsure whether a photo, logo, club mark or AI-generated image can be submitted, contact SAIWEI SPORTS before placing the order. We would rather check the rights question first than pause a finished design later.
